Indigenous History in Canada

We were lucky in our program to have a course specifically dedicated to Indigenous Education. It’s important for educators to introduce students to First Nations, Inuit and Metis cultures in Canada and the lasting impact of colonization. Not only is there an important new emphasis in the curriculum, but it will help our students better understand the political and social environment in Canada today. I’ve included a few of the helpful resources we encountered in that course, and will try to update this list as I am able.
